empowering counselling
for a centred life
Welcome
meeting you where you're at,
supporting your fullest potential

Welcome, I'm Michael. As a Registered Social Worker and Therapist in Vancouver, I offer specialised support to people coping with anxiety and OCD. I hold a Master's in Social Work from New York University and have over a decade of experience in the field of mental health.

I grew up in Vancouver, where I struggled with anxiety throughout my adolescence and early adulthood. Driven to seek solutions, I spent years studying meditation and plant medicine in Japan and Peru. Through these experiences, I learned that there is not one miracle cure, but an array of skills and practices we can harness to cultivate our health and wellbeing.

In my clinical work, I draw from a range of modalities including CBT, somatic therapy, and mindfulness. I have specialised training in EMDR for trauma and ERP for OCD. My approach is warm, relational, and relaxed. I will support you in growing beyond your old limiting patterns into a more fulfilling experience of life.

Schedule your complimentary consultation today, and let's discuss how I can support you on your journey to greater wellbeing.

OCD
OCD doesn’t have to define your life. With Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, you can break free from its hold. I’m here to guide you toward lasting change and reclaiming your sense of freedom.
ANXIETY
Anxiety is addictive - it creates neuro-pathways that we get caught in and have difficulty getting out of. By working creatively with your mind and body, you'll start feeling more calm and settled in your daily life.
TRAUMA
Trauma shapes our experiences, often holding us back from living fully. EMDR offers a transformative route to healing. By reprocessing traumatic memories, this therapy provides relief and facilitates a journey towards recovery.
SHAME + SELF-WORTH
The fear of not being good enough is prevalent in our society. When we suppress or hide our shame, it thrives; but when we meet it with our awareness and empathy, it unravels. With practice, you will learn to hold yourself with curiosity and care.
